We're an airsoft community based out of (but not limited to ) the St Louis, MO area. We are dedicated to improving, and growing the sport of airsoft. If you're new to the sport, welcome. If you're an old hat at it, come on in, we always want more experienced people in the mix.
Keep an eye out, as we're always to improve things on the site, so if there is something you would like to see, let us know, it may already be in the works, or we may look into making it happen.
So I saw this in vids at Jags booth this year at shot and was wondering how it worked. Well that has been answered by this vid. This will be on the market soon and there is not mrsp on it yet but stay tuned until then I leave you with the video.
So I am huge Ares fan boy noted, but this is pretty neat. Lets see where this takes us here is a picture and some info.
Info: Ares Airsoft: Non Contact Firing Control System Or the NFCS (...probably should be called NCFCS) as the call it @ Ares Airsoft, who BTW seem to have a new company name or even new owners, they certainly have new staff. Anyway, back to the NFCS, according to Ares Airsoft, a first trully electronics integrated gearbox, with non-contact firing control built in. Not sure if this claim holds water, as a few otherc some to mind, like the PTW & CTW, also the ASG's CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 supposedly has such a concept built in. We should be able to reveal this in later tests. For now, more details regarding the Ares Airsoft's new seystem, right bellow...
So since I am on a pistol kick. Idk how many of you are aware of this, but Tokyo Marui has just released their XDM. This is a more modern pistol from Springfield Armory that no one has made yet until now. Here is a pick and info is in the link to my favorite place Ehobbyasia. The price seems to be around $180 which is not to bad for a TM. It is a Gas Blow Back or GBB, it has a full metal 26 round loading capacity one-piece (silver plate) magazine, and comes with three different size selective selective back straps (Small Medium and Large). This is the 40 cal compact 4.5 slide version. This is the middle version between the full size and the sub compact. So I would not be surprised if we see the other versions later down the road.
I did not care for shooting the real one, but it felt great this is no different. The pistol will most likely be extremely comfy. It will feel like a glock but function like a p99 and a m1911 put together mixed with a glock. Enjoy.
So for the first post in this section, I am going to start with a video showing a lot of guns coming out from Echo 1 this year from shot show. They are finally really stepping up their game. There will be more news articles that I will be posting soon, but this is short and sweet to get things rolling around here.
